Research indicates that neuro-inflammation is one of the reasons for the development of ASD. Ongoing neuro-inflammation or encephalitis in the brain, is common in children with ASD. Administering anti- inflammatories could reduce the destructive effects of chronic inflammation allowing for neuronal reconnection and a reduction in autism symptoms.
